About Us

Jim Robuck started in the jewelry business in the mid-1960s as a watchmaker and worked in the jewelry field primarily as a watchmaker until he and his wife, Charlene, opened their own store in Historic North Topeka in 1998.  What started out as a small repair shop in 1998 quickly grew into a full-line jewelry store.  Within three months of moving to North Topeka, Jim and Charlene purchased the former Shawnee State Bank Building at the corner of Kansas Avenue and Laurent Street and opened a full-line jewelry store.  Robuck Jewelers features everything from the latest in fashion to estate and antique jewelry - including several  lines that are exclusive to their store in the Topeka area.  They also carry a large selection of  both new and estate watches and clocks.  If you are looking for a watchband, look no further.  Robuck Jewelers has the largest selection of watchbands anywhere.  If you have an older watch and want an original band, look no further.

Jim and Charlene also offer a full-service repair department for not only jewelry but for all types of watches, including Rolex watches, and all types of clocks, including grandfather clocks.  All repair work is done on-site by highly trained, professional repair personnel.

Jim and Charlene pride themselves in providing price points that will meet every person's need  while at the same time giving each customer the same professional, helpful and friendly service.  If you are ever unhappy with our service -- for any reason -- we want to know.  We cannot correct an issue if we aren't aware of it.

A very special service - Robuck Jewelers also offers a service to their customers that isn't found at most jewelry stores.  Jim and Charlene can serve as  your private diamond broker.  Because of their exclusive membership in the Independent Jeweler Organization (IJO), they are able to travel to Antwerp, Belgium and meet directly with the diamond cutters to select the perfect diamond for you from hundreds of parcels of cut diamonds.  Belgium's reputation for cutting diamonds has progressed to embrace the distinction of being the largest diamond trading center in the world. No request is too large or too small.  A diamond hand-selected directly from the diamond cutter is the ultimate diamond purchase.  See our Antwerp category on this website for more information as to how you can obtain an Antwerp diamond for you or your loved one for that already special occasion - or make any day a "very special" occasion with a diamond from Antwerp.

Robuck Jewelers is a unique experience in Historic Downtown North Topeka.   Many of our customers say we are the best kept secret in Topeka.  You must come see for yourself.
